Abstract: In the process of digital transformation of the healthcare system, start-ups play a fundamental role as catalysts for change. However, what is truly innovative is emerging from the collaboration between pharmaceutical companies and these start-ups. By combining pharma's deep industry knowledge and regulatory expertise with the agility, flexibility and disruptive capacity of start-ups, a formula is created that maximises the development and adoption of technology solutions. Thanks to this synergy, new tools are being implemented that optimize the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases more quickly and effectively. Working together accelerates the introduction of advances such as artificial intelligence, virtual assistants and digital platforms, directly impacting the efficiency of processes, diagnostic accuracy and the personalization of patient care. Speakers will represent the perspective from different stages of the patient’s itinerary through the healthcare system. From the point of view of prevention, Tucuvi, has developed a conversational AI assistant to optimize vaccination in healthy adults. Spotlab has an AI base system which accelerates and standardizes the diagnosis of multiple myeloma. Additum, will introduce project Q-Care, whose objective is to optimize the EPOC patient journey through a public-private partnership. UpHil develops Route, a platform that orchestrates procedures to improve the management of serious cases of asthma that are hard to manage.
