The access of healthcare technologies to the market requires a prior validation which implies regulatory and data protection issues. In this roundtable, our goal is to analyze and discuss on the current applicable regulations, both nationally and internationally, applicable to the validation of healthcare technologies to understand the complex framework a company has to deal with in order to access the market in Spain. We will approach this topic from two fundamental perspectives: 1. Regulatory: We will delve into the regulations governing medical and healthcare technologies, evaluating their impact and the requirements they impose to ensure the safety and efficacy of these technologies. 2. Data Protection and Security: We will examine the implications related to data protection, cybersecurity, and information security. Additionally, we will discuss best practices in the development of IT solutions and software applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security and privacy.
